Vibrant, explosive, yummy color — dyed by hand, one batch at a time

About

Fiberlicious Yummy Fibers was born from a simple craving: the cross stitch world needed more color. More *yummy*. So we started dyeing, and we never stopped.

HOW IT STARTED:

We started our journey since 2013 from a small studio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US. Our first ever hand dyed thread called "Bramble Berry" and our first hand dyed fabric called "Poinsettia". Looking at that history now, it seemed we started with such bold and explosive colorways.

Today, every skein and every cut of fabric is still dyed by hands in our Pennsylvania studio, in small batches, on premium Zweigart and DMC bases. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, and that's the point. The mottling, the movement, the little surprises in the dye are what make hand-dyed fabric "hand-dyed".

FROM OUR DYE STUDIO TO YOUR STITCHING HOOP

We dye to order in small batches, which means your fabric is dyed *for you*, not pulled from a warehouse shelf. A few honest notes, because we'd rather you know upfront:

- Dye lots vary. That's the nature of hand dyeing, and we think it's beautiful. If you're stitching a large project, order all your fabric at once.

- Our fabrics are not colorfast. We say so on every listing, because surprises belong in the color, not in the rinse water.

- Good things take time. Made-to-order pieces ship in 4–8 working weeks.
